Karsk (Major)
Karsk is a Major in the Cadian Shock Troopers, who commands a strike force known as Karsk's Gunners.[1a]
History
He is a stern, disciplined commander and gifted strategist, who is accompanied by a cadre of specialist troopers who aid the Major in his command duties. Though the grizzled Karsk resembles the Imperium's propaganda Astra Militarum vid-feeds of unforgiving commanders, he does at times display a grim gallows humor as he leads the Gunners.[1b] Currently his strike force is part of a much larger Astra Militarum muster, that is defending the Systems of the Sanctus Wall. Thanks to the Major's leadership, their tight regimental discipline and raw overwhelming firepower, the Gunners have prevailed over not only the forces of Chaos, but Xenos Pirates and heretic insurgents. As far as Karsk is concerned, the strike force will continue to defeat any foe they face, for as long as the Gunners draw breath. [1a]
