Karsk IV is a world of the Imperium[1]
History
Dominated by a harsh volcanically active landscape and rich thanks to extensive Pyrite mining[1a], Karsk IV fell out of control of the Imperium when the Cult of the Angel of Fire rose up.[1b] During the Macharian Crusade, Karsk IV was the site of one of Lord Solar Macharius' earliest major victories when he personally confronted a Lord of Change. Macharius was able to force the Daemon back through its Warp portal as Inquisitor Hyronimus Drake closed it.[1c]
