Kavardia is a Necron Tomb World.[1]
History
A bloody battle erupted between the Ork[1] Waaagh![4] of the Deathskull Warboss Krunch 'Ead-stompa and the Necrons of the Oroskh Dynasty when the Greenskins tried to open a Necron tomb complex on Kavardia. During the battle, the Necrons inflicted a staggering amount of casualties on the Warboss' horde and prevented 'Ead-stompa from gaining entry into the tomb complex.[1]
The Space Wolves and the Calth Strain Epsilon Splinter Fleet then became involved in the battle on Kavardia and the Tyranids repeatedly clashed with the Chapter. So much so, that some in the Imperium fear that Epsilon has developed a taste for the Canis Helix of the Space Wolves' Gene-seed[2]. The Splinter Fleet has since gained significant ground on devouring the world and due to this success, the Hive Mind has sent Epsilon's unique Omniphage Haruspex to assist its ravenous hordes.[3]
The Necron of the Oroskh Dynasty and the Deathskull Orks[4] of Warboss 'Ead-stompa[1] continue to fight on Kavardia well. Mekboy Blagnutz's Warband in particular has been a thorn in the side of the various armies on the world, as his Boyz get involved in any battle they can. Though the Warband has suffered a series of defeats at the Space Wolves' hands, the Orks are confident they can turn it around if they get one big win. Things are now slowly going their way, however, due to the alliance the Warband has struck with the Oroskh Dynasty.[4]
