History

Squad Kellion/Avenging Sons

During the later part of the Plague Wars on Macragge, the first squad of the Company under Captain Acheran was known as Squad Kellion after their Veteran Sergeant, and also by the epithet the Avenging Sons. The squad operated as a Tactical Squad during this time.^[2]

Squad Ortius

At one point, the first squad was known as Squad Ortius, and equipped with Intercessor gear. Squad Ortius was part of the Strike Force known as The Primarch's Chosen, led by Roboute Guilliman himself.^[1]
