Khthonic Gate

The Khthonic Gate is a Warp Gate within the Sol System.[1]
This ancient structure near Pluto was built by Humanity during the Dark Age of Technology to allow for rapid travel to and from the Sol System. It allowed for safe bypassing of the System's Mandeville Point, greatly increasing travel efficiency.[1]
During the Solar War in the Horus Heresy, the Gate was heavily assailed by traitor fleets.[1]
