Korlael the Seeker of Redemption is a Fallen Angel who is considered a champion among that group's number.^[1]

After the Terran Crusade he was imprisoned along with Cypher and other Fallen in the Black Cells by the Custodes, but was eventually freed by another group of Dark Angels intent on hunting the Fallen under Mordachi. During their flight from the Palace, Korlael disguised himself as Cypher to draw away Mordachi, who tracks down and kills him.^[2]
