Krayak's Moon was once an Imperial mining colony, until its population was purged by the Aeldari[1a] Craftworlds Alaitoc[1b] and Iyanden.[1c] Though the forces of the Astra Militarum tried to defeat the Xenos, they were defeated and the attack became known as the Cleansing of Krayak's Moon.[2]
