Lagan III is a Hive World in the Lagan System. It was invaded by a Tyranid Hive Fleet, then saved and captured by the T’au Empire, only to be recaptured by the Ultramarines 3rd Company shortly after 989.M41.[1]
Geography
Lagan III is tide-locked to its star, resulting in one hemisphere of the planet being a harsh, radioactive desert, and the other hemisphere being eternally dark. Hive Cities are located all around the Twilight Belt, the equatorial ring that separates both hemispheres. [1]
