The Legio Adamantus is an Imperial Titan Legion known for being stubborn to the point of suicidal tenacity.[1][2a] It carries the cognomen The Unbroken[2a] and its forge world is Gulgorahd.[2a][2b]
Notable Actions
During the Great Crusade, they are known to have fought in the Compliance of Isstvan III, alongside the Titans of the Legio Victorum, Space Marines of the Raven Guard Legion and Imperial Army soldiers of the Therion Cohort.[1]
Later, in the Horus Heresy, they resisted the Night Lords to the last during the Thramas Crusade, fighting in some of the largest Titan engagement of the Crusade. The Legion defended the bastion worlds of Bastions 011 and 009 in cooperation with elements of the Legios Atrox and Saevus against the traitor Legions of the Legio Phasma, Victorum I and Victorum II. In a month-long engagement, which resulted in the lose of nearly a hundred Titans, many maniples of the Legio Adamantus choose to fight to the end instead of retreating.[2a]
