Leonine Panoply
The Leonine Panoply was a suit of Power Armour worn by the Dark Angels Primarch Lion El'Jonson.[1]
History
Crafted in homage to his Caliban armour, the Panoply was both brutally efficient and fitting regalia for the First Primarch. Its crown glory was the Lion Helm which incorporated a field projector of ancient design.[1] The Panoply was additionally capable of standing proof against temporal contortions, though whether that lay in the artifice of the Emperor or the being of the Lion was unclear.[3]
When the need arose to face those foes skilled with the Warp, the Lion would adopt a modification to his Panoply’s cloak, which he would weave with a thin, psychically dampening etherium plaid that he had personally drawn from the Santale’s armourium aboard the Invincible Reason.[3]
On the Lion's reawakening in the Age of the Dark Imperium, he found that he was not wearing the Leonine Panoply, but a new suit of armour.[4]
