Lethidia was a Maiden World of the Eldar on the southern fringes of the galaxy. It now resides in the inter-dimensional space around Commorragh.[1]
History
In 999.M41, Lethidia was assaulted by the Tyranids of Hive Fleet Leviathan. The Craftworld Saim-Hann was nearby, and launched a rescue operation for its Exodite population. However, enticed by the chance to secure a vast number of living Tyranids, the planet was pulled from realspace by an alliance of Dark Eldar Haemonculi Covens led by Urien Rakarth and into the orbit of the webway city of Commorragh. The process condemned millions of Exodites and Saim-Hann defenders to a living nightmare, but the Haemonculi have a full larder of Tyranids to harvest as they please.[1][2a] Later, a fashion would arise among Dark Eldar elites to graft growths harvested from Genestealer cultists onto their bodies. These individuals began to show an obsession with the captured Lethidia and its Tyranid inhabitants.[2b]
Recently, however, the theft of Lethidia has caused a splinter fleet of Leviathan to penetrate the Webway and move towards Commorragh.[3]
