The Liberation of the Nappolis System was a campaign of the Indomitus Crusade.[1]
The liberation of the star system was a fourteen month long campaign against Chaos cultists calling themselves the Scions of Carnage over three satellite worlds until reaching and liberating the capital world, Siennon. The Scions of Carnage had infiltrated the local Planetary Defence Forces and taken the chance to seize control when the Great Rift opened and cut the system off from the Imperium. They then had years to entrench themselves until the Imperium in the form of the Indomitus Crusade reached them again. [1]
