Lone Marshal
The Lone Marshal is a mythological figure on the planet Necromunda, said to be the creator of the Palanite Enforcers force.[1]
Overview
Legends within Hive Primus speak of the Lone Marshal, the first Palanite Enforcer. Initially the term "Marshal" referred to the leaders of Outland-Precincts, on the frontier of Helmawr's control. Millennia ago, following the Great Road War and the rise of the Imperial House, the Lone Marshal served as bodyguard to Martek Helm'ayr, the Helmawr lineage's progenitor. After Martek's death, the Marshal dedicated himself to safeguarding his master's legacy, creating the first Palanite guard. He patrolled the wastes between hives, marking enemies with the spider-seal of the Enforcers. The fate of the Lone Marshal is a mystery; some tales suggest he sealed himself in a stasis casket, awaiting the day Martek's descendants might need him again.[1]
