Lord of Skin and Sinew
The Lord of Skin and Sinew is an ancient and powerful Daemon of Khorne, that is worshiped by Necromunda's Corpse Grinder Cults.[1]
The Daemon is known to have physically appeared within Hive Arcos, when it fell to the Corpse Grinders, though ancient texts state that this is not the first time the Lord of Skin and Sinew walked on Necromunda's surface. There are various theories about its origins, with some speculating that the Daemon is somehow tied to Necromunda and is eternally seeking ways to escape. Others believe, that the Lord of Skin and Sinew is trying to transform the Hive World into its own personal realm of blood and hunger.[1]
The Lord of Skin and Sinew is among a number of Daemons, that some in the depths of Necromunda's Hive Primus sometimes call upon. Those facing death, can desperately beseech it in order to live beyond their allotted life-span and the Daemon is able to grant that last wish for a price. Those marked by the Lord of Skin and Sinew, however, will be required to conduct Human sacrifices to the Daemon in order to sustain their lives. In time, though, the powers granted by the Lord of Skin and Sinew will eventually turn its victims into Chaos Spawns.[2]
