Lorvane is a world of the Imperium.[1]
History
During the beginnings of the Indomitus Crusade, part of Fleet Quintus was sent to defend Lorvane from an Ork horde. This force included Hallenican Lowlanders of the Astra Militarum, and they defended Fort Gryffon. However, the Orks managed to drive the Imperials out of the fortress. The last platoons of Lowlanders acted as a rearguard during the retreat, sacrificing themselves to ensure the rest of the army could escape. Their deeds were commemorated on Fleet Quintus's Tablet of Conquests.[1]
