Lucienne Agamemnus IX
Lucienne Agamemnus IX was the current Imperial Governor of Vigilus.
The latest head of the Agamemnus Dynasty which has ruled over Vigilus for millennia, Lucienne is an overconfident pomp noble who was seen as incompetent at best by Marneus Calgar when the Chapter Master arrived during the War of Beasts. He remains on Calgar's war council known as the Vigilus Senate due to his influence over the Vigilant Guard but has had his supreme authority of the war effort stripped by Calgar. Lucienne's younger brother Deinos Agamemnus is also a major commander on Vigilus.[1]
When Marneus Calgar sought to forge an alliance with the Eldar of Saim-Hann in order to combat the forces of Chaos invading Vilus, the deaths of those responsible for the deaths of the Autarch Rhyloor was ordered as a condition by the xenos. Faced with the planet's destruction, Calgar had Lucienne Agamemnus IX killed.[2]
