Lurius Valn
Lurius Valn is a Chaplain in the Ultramarines Chapter.[1][Canon Conflict]

History
Known within the Ultramarines for his zealously, Valn has also survived hundreds of battles which have left him now largely composed of bionics. However this is just a testament to the Chaplain's endurance and righteous fury. These traits saw him survive a last stand on Mordent Prime and afterwards, Valn fought[1] the T'au Empire[2] as part of the Dark Crusade's[3] Mont'shi Campaign.[2] The Chaplain had been charged with stopping the Xenos attempts to expand their territory,[1] but the Campaign later ended in failure for the Imperium.[3] However Valn, was among the Imperials who survived the Crusade.[1]

Lurius Valn and Mordent Prime were created for the Dark Crusade Campaign, by the Hobby Center staff of Games Workshop's Mall of Georgia store[1] in Buford, Georgia, USA.[2]
Canon Conflict
Though Lurius Valn is listed as being the Ultramarines' Master of Sanctity,[1] the rank is held by Ortan Cassius.[4]
