Lysios is a world of the Cryptus System. This world is known to have a anomalous annual cycle. During the Cryptus Campaign, the planet was consumed by the Tyranids and is now a Dead World.[1]

History

During the Cryptus Campaign, the planet became a battlefield where the Flesh Tearers and their Adepta Sororitas allies fought against the Tyranids. The Imperium's forces fought a relentless running battle against the Tyranids across the desiccated seabed of a world once covered in oceans—now scoured bare by the bio-constructs of the Hive Mind. At the last sheltering within the shattered remains of an ancient cathedrum, the warriors of the Imperium mounted a valiant last stand beneath the looming presence of a relic destined to turn the tide of war. Were it not for Gabriel Seth's unwavering defence of the Magnovitrium, the entire campaign across the Cryptus System would have been lost—and Baal itself would have fallen to the relentless hunger of the Hive Mind.[2]
