Machiel is a Battle Brother of the Flesh Tearers, who fell to the Black Rage during the Devastation of Baal.[1]
History
During the later stages of the Devastation of Baal, Machiel was among the Flesh Tearers fighting against the Daemons of Khorne on Baal Primus. As he fought a Daemon, he fell to the Black Rage, and Chaplain Appollus drew a cross upon his pauldron using blood from Machiel's own wound.[1]
