History
The world contains chemical sludge beds[2] and like the rest of the Magdallan System, it was once ruled by the Navigators of House D'Kark. Their palace was held in Magdallan Prime's Magdallakeen, but D'Kark brought about their destruction when the Navigator House began whispering dissent. This was discovered by the Inquisition, which led[1] the Ordo Hereticus[3] and Ordo Xenos to launch a pogrom against D'Kark. The Inquisitors overseeing the attack on Magdallan Prime led the Astra Militarum against the House, but clashed with its private Mercenary army. D'Kark's palace was able to resist repeated assaults at the cost of hundreds of Imperial lives, which led the Ordo Xenos to seek further aid.[1]
This was found in the White Scars Chapter, which agreed to send two Companies to aid in destroying the Navigator House. After an orbital bombardment, the Companies successfully breached the walls of D'Kark's palace and began massacring everyone inside of it. Those that somehow managed to escape the White Scars' attack, were later hunted down and killed by the Space Marines. With that, House D'Kark was destroyed and only its Novator was spared, after he was captured and taken prisoner by an Ordo Xenos Inquisitor. Afterwards, Magdallan Prime was purged and its entire population was deported to selected Death Worlds.[1]
