Malcorum Prime is an Imperial Industrial World with a population of 32 million located in the Chernobog System of the Caligari Sector in Segmentum Tempestus.[1]
Overview
Malcorum Prime was once an Astra Militarum staging world with vast fortresses housing millions of Guardsmen, but fell victim to a surprise Chaos invasion, which then became the theatre for an Imperial reclamation campaign.[1a]
It is currently controlled by the Ecclesiarchy. Skirmishes with the remnants of the hostile forces are still ongoing even as reconstruction efforts are underway.[1a]
