Malya L'nor was one of the leaders of the pro-Imperium resistance on Quintus, which opposed the rule of the Daemon Prince Voldorius when he subjugated the planet.[1a]

Biography

Prior to the invasion of Quintus, Malya was a junior officer of the Quintus Planetary Defence Forces. She was amongst the few surviving loyal members of the PDF after Voldorius conquered the planet and soon became one of the senior members of the pro-Imperial resistance.[1a] She became aware of a Space Marine force operating on Qunitus and sought to make herself useful to them, transmitting whatever information she could to aid them.[1a][1c]

After a member of Malya's resistance cell disobeyed her orders and led a failed assassination attempt on Voldorius, the Daemon Prince punished the inhabitants of Quintus by massacring the population of the city of Mankarra.[1a] Although Malya was amongst the thousands gathered and brought to the city's main square, her life was spared and instead she was forced to serve Voldorius as his new equerry.[1a][1b]

While serving as Voldorius's equerry, she continued to supply the Space Marines with intel on the weak points of Mankarra when they made their move to liberate Quintus. However, Voldorius was aware of her treachery and forced her to serve as a new host for his greatest weapon, the Bloodtide.[1c][1d]
