Marcha
Marcha was a White Scar who served in the 3rd Brotherhood, which was led by the Master of the Hunt Kor'sarro Khan.[1]
History
In late M41, he took part in the Khan's Great Hunt for the Blighted Claw's Plague Lord Paramyx. The servant of Nurgle sought to spread his God's plagues across the Imperium and had infected several worlds already. This led Kor'sarro Khan to be charged with collecting Paramyx's head and the 3rd Brotherhood tracked the Plague Lord across half a Segmentum to no avail. They finally tracked Paramyx to the Agri World Gehöft, which was already rotting away by the time the White Scars arrived there. Though the Brindelweld Seventeenth Regiment and the Dark Angels Ravenwing had come to aid the world as well, the Khan could see it was too late to save Gehöft. However Paramyx was still there and so Kor'sarro Khan would continue his hunt for the Plague Lord. The Ravenwing's Master, Sammael, agreed to the Khan in this task and their Companies aided in defending the world, while they hunted for Paramyx.[1]
Marcha was among the White Scars chosen to aid Kor'sarro Khan and they traveled deep into the battlefield, with Sammael's Ravenwing squadrons. His fellow White Scar Khemru would discover Paramyx's location, but shortly afterwards was killed when a large number of Blight Drones ambushed the Khan's squadron. With their prey getting away, Kor'sarro looked for aid from Sammael's forces, who had been fighting nearby, but he discovered the Ravenwing had abandoned the beleaguered White Scars[1], to pursue their own mysterious goal on the world[2]. With no aid in sight, the White Scars fought on but only Kor'sarro was left standing. The rest of the squadron had died, with Marcha being among the last to die. His end came, when Marcha's helmet was knocked off and a wound on his forehead became immediately infected by Gehöft's now toxic atmosphere. Poison quickly filled his veins and Marcha dropped dead moments later. With that, Kor'sarro Khan stood alone and was forced give up his hunt in order to escape. Gehöft was declared lost shortly afterwards and the surviving Imperials evacuated before the world was destroyed by an Exterminatus.[2]
