Maru Skara

Maru Skara or the killing cut[2] is a tactic used by the Emperor's Children during the Horus Heresy.[1]
It was named after one of the most difficult strikes in the lore of the Pan-Europic duelling cults, and called for a precisely timed rapid-moving feint designed to engage an opponent's guard so that a second blow could be dealt.[2] Tactically, the Maru Skara utilised a combined-arms approach to warfare, and represented the height of the Legion's military expertise before their fall to Slaanesh.[1]
