Midael (Sergeant)
Midael is a Sergeant in the Dark Angels Chapter.[1b]
History
He was among its forces that Master Tigraine led to aid Tarnis, which was soon going to be invaded by the Ork Waaagh! of Warboss Nekkruncha[1b]. The Imperial world was also ruled by the Knights of House Drakkus, who had a pact of alliance with the Dark Angels. However when Tigraine's strike force reached Tarnis, they received a plea for aid from the Knight House stating it was under attack. A Khorne Warband had suddenly overwhelmed Drakkus' fortress, Fort Drakkus, and while the Dark Angels forced the Warband to retreat, only a single Knight had survived the invasion[1a]. Tigraine chose Midael to act as an envoy to the Knight, who vowed to uphold the pact his House had made with the Dark Angels. Taking the mantle of the Freeblade Vortigan, he soon began aiding Tigraine's strike force in saving his now beleaguered Homeworld, from Nekkruncha's Orks[1b] and the Khorne Warband.[1c]
