Mkvan was a Guardsman of the Tanith First and Only.^[1]

One of the original Tanith members of the regiment, Mkvan was killed in the Hagia campaign after being shot in the face by an Infardi cultist while fighting in the Holy Doctrinopolis.^[1]

Conflicting sources

In the novel Honour Guard, Mkvan is killed during the Hagia campaign.^[1] Despite this, the following novel, The Guns of Tanith, shows Mkvan as amongst a unit of Tanith under Sergeants Varl and Kolea active during the assault on Cirenholm.^[2]
