Shas'O Mont'ka is a Commander in the T'au Empire.^[1]

History

He was among^[1] its Third Sphere of Expansion forces^[2] that invaded the Imperial Sectors near the Damocles Gulf, in the wake of the 13th Black Crusade. However the Imperium later launched the Dark Crusade's Mont'shi Campaign against the T'au Empire^[3] and Mont'ka was made a priority target. The Commander was also among those that the Ordo Xenos gathered information on, but it was made classified by the Ordo.^[1] The Mont'shi Campaign eventually ended in failure for the Imperium^[3] and Mont'ka survived the Crusade.^[1]

Mont'ka was created for the Dark Crusade Campaign by the Hobby Center staff of Games Workshop's Katy Mills store^[1] in Katy, Texas, USA.^[4]
