Mortifer

Mortifer was a famed Master of the Dark Angels. He is best known for wielding the Monster Slayer of Caliban, an ancient and prized chapter relic that is known to respond to the faith and purity of mind of the wielder. Using the blade, Mortifer gained fame by slaying three hulking Tyranid Carnifexes. However it is said Mortifer later lost faith during a battle, and the blade was unable to even penetrate the crude armour of an Ork Warboss.[1]
