Mozrog Skragbad is a Snakebite Beast Snagga[1] Beastboss[2], who rides upon the legendary Great White Squig Big Chompa.[1]
Biography
Mozrog is known to have always preferred the company of Squigs to other Orks. Living his days in self-imposed exile, he has spent his life hunting one monstrous beast after another. His tribemates suspect that so much time alone has made his brain a bit funny, but even they couldn't argue his impressive hunting tally. This status quo was broken when his tribe joined Waaagh! Gobgrinda during the invasion of the Iron Warriors-held world of Yrwyn II. During the battle, Mozgrog was swallowed by a gigantic subterranean creature known as a Gutmaw. The Snakebite's steed didn't survive, but Mozrog himself was able to survive deep within the creatures stomach. Stories of his survival may have grown in the telling, but it is said that he clawed his way to freedom and killed the beast in the process. It is said that the half-digested Mozrog arrived back at his camp days later, dragging the creatures eyeballs behind him. Impressed, Warboss Gobgrinda had the best Painboyz rebuild Mozrog with Bioniks.[1] At some point, he acquired the gigantic Power Klaw known as Gutrippa.[3]
Since that brush with death, he has always driven to seek bigger and nastier quarry. Some Orks say he can't be killed, others that he will one day hunt the stars themselves. Whatever the truth, Mozrog now tolerates entire warbands of followers, trailing him on his hunts and hoping to share in the glory of his kills. So great are the number of his followers that they often represent entire Beast Snagga warbands in their own right.[1]
Mozrog's primary companion is the great albino Squig Big Chompa. Known as the untameable Squig, the badbeast of skrapmud, and dat find wot ate Boss Norbag's Buggy - Big Chompa had many names before he became Mozrog's steed. Some say that one glare from Mozrog was enough to quell the beast, but in truth is that it took the Ork three solid days of bludgeoning, wrestling, chasing and general belabouring. Since that day, Mozrog and his steed are never seen apart. That said, this is due in large part to the fact that if Mozrog leaves the Squig unattended he will soon wreak bloody carnage.[1]
