Nemrodesh 1st
The Nemrodesh 1st is an Astra Militarum Regiment, that is known for its Guardsmen's accuracy.[1]
History
It was initially formed during the Imperium's Nemrodesh Crusade, from the remnants of several Regiments. The Nemrodesh was always reconstituted after every engagement, but its fresh recruits would somehow still retain the Regiment's signature accuracy. This was said to be bestowed upon them by an ornate wreathed skull finial, that always sits atop the varies Standards, that were flown by the Nemrodesh. It was thought to provide divine guidance to those fighting beneath the skull, which allowed the Regiment's most improbable shots to hit their mark. It became known as the Finial of the Nemrodesh 1st and has since become a relic of the Astra Militarum.[1]
