New Caliban was once ruled by the Fallen Angel Daemon Prince known as the Black Lion and it served as a base for his army.^[1] However the Dark Angels Chapter later invaded the blasphemous world and captured the Daemon.^[2]

• New Caliban, the Black Lion and his army were created by the Games Workshop employee Eddie. They were featured in a Warhammer Community article.^[1] and New Caliban is also mentioned in Codex: Dark Angels (8th Edition).^[2]
