Nightmare Doll
One of the rarest items in all of Commorragh, the Nightmare Doll is hard to make and incredibly dangerous relic[1] with a tremendous ability – bullet holes, burns, and other injuries which would appear on its owner instead appear on the doll, leaving the master unhurt.[3]
The reason for its rarity is that psychic ability is required to make and use one, and there are few Psykers among the Dark Eldar who are not their playthings.[1] Nightmare dolls are fashioned from stolen flesh, and must be fed on drops of their owner's blood.[3] Despite this risk, some Dark Eldar do use these Nightmare Dolls as they emit an aura of pain, and can even cause their owners to fall into a feverish delirium in which they might be granted visions of the future.[1]
