Nirriam
Nirriam was a Verghastite[1c] Guardsman of the Tanith First and Only regiment.[1a]
Biography
During the assault on Cirenholm on the planet Phantine, Nirriam was among those Tanith Guardsmen onboard drop-ship 2K under the command of Sergeants Haller and Domor. However, on approach to the city, 2K was damaged by the enemy's air defences and crashlanded on the outside of Cirenholm's secondary dome.[1a]
The survivors of the crash made their way inside the dome via an air vent and eventually made their way to the control chamber of the dome's vapour mill.[1b][1c] On reaching the control chamber, Nirriam was tasked with operating its vox array in the hopes of contacting the regiment's commanding officer. Although Nirriam was classed as a standard infantryman and had only rudimentary vox training[1c], he was still the best man for the job, as both of the vox-officers who were aboard 2K (Gohho and Liglis) died in the crash.[1b]
