Nogai was a Noyan-Khan (or Lord Commander) of the White Scars active during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy. During the Chondax Campaign he commanded a Horde-level formation of 7,300 Marines, primarily Jetbike-mounted infantry.^[1b]

In the Chondax Campaign, he was killed on Shaln by a surprise Alpha Legion ambush.^[1a]
