The Oathsworn are an order of Freeblades from the Knight House Hawkshroud.^[1]

Description

Besides those willing taking up the mantle^[2], there are those Hawkshroud Knights who form unusually close association with their allies. It is not uncommon for these Knights to then remain on campaign far beyond the length of service that was initially offered or requested of House Hawkshroud. In theory they become Freeblades, but unlike many^[1], most^[1][2] of the Hawkshroud's Oathsworn still display their House's heraldry and livery. Also, unless they are slain in battle, the Oathsworn will one day seek to return to House Hawkshroud, where they will be welcomed back with honour.^[1]
