Brother Obelius Mung was a member of the Mung family of Eldar Xenos experts[1] and keeper of the Vault of Lore on Terra[2], a descendant of Eleusis Mung.[1]

Obelius, along with his mentee Ralamine Mung, were members of the Ordo Xenos and spent thirty years studying the Eldar. Mung translated Eldar language of many artefacts, including the objects found in the ruins of El Daradanel on Ilium II in 9763986.M41.[2]One of Obelius's greatest works was translating the Seven Scrolls of H'sann, selections of which were included in Ralamine's Translations of Pertinent Eldar Myths, a collection of Eldar knowledge on the Necrons.[1]

Obelius Mung successor is Lassister Mung III, the last surviving member of the Mung Dynasty's xenolexicographers and servant of the Ordo Xenos.[4]
