History
While the Mechanicus Calixis pressed multiple times both Ministorum and Ordo Hereticus that there is little difference between the Obliviate's destructive neuroaugmnetation and many servitor brain patterns, they with time learned to keep their quiet and help the Imperial forces with their aim at annihilation of the soulless bestials. The doctrine within both organisations treatises that the oblivion volitors destroy utterly a soul of an individual, which fuels Grizvaldi's grip on his forgeworld, instilling fear of destroying souls of his enemies. While noted for their lack of souls, they noticeably do not create any effect on psychic phenomena associated with the Untouchables, described as also soulless, which was waved away by the interested parties as a different kind of soullessness.[1]
Illucis Grizvaldi held court for Hereteks on Scintilla, at the beginning of 8th century M41, parading with his followers, leashing naked, empty-eyed and soulless Obliviates of his former opponents. Taunting and threatening every faithful of his ability to utterly remove one's essence. Between 705 and 706.M41 Brecht District Administratum discovered thirteen of the bestial in low- and mid-hive of the former citizens, prompting a request for help from Ordo Hereticus.[1]
The Inquisition quickly dealt with Grizvaldi, executing him, ending his rule of terror over Scintilla. However, his legacy lives on, as a multitude of other hereteks seek to replicate his atrocities, making it that sporadically hives have to deal with the small outbreak of Obliviates.[2]
