Notable Engagements
The Omega Marines contributed 9 companies to the Third War for Armageddon.[1]
During the War they deployed nine Dreadnoughts, led by Brother Weylands, to support eight Dreadnoughts of the Angels Porphyr chapter in the defence of Gate IX, of the Ghattana Bay water processing plant. Together they were able to stop an assault by a massed force of Ork Killa Kans and Deff Dreads - the largest recorded instance of Dreadnought vs. Dreadnought combat.[4]
Heraldry
The Omega Marines’ chapter badge consists of a skull on a white omega, upon a backdrop of black. Company colour is displayed on both the shoulder pad trims and the chest aquila, and squad number is displayed in white lettering on the battlefield role symbol on the right shoulder pad.[5]

Conflicting Sources
- In Insignium Astartes, a marine is shown with a visible “I” upon his right pauldron, presumably indicating squad number.[5] However, an image from How to Paint Space Marines lacks a visible squad number upon the battlefield role symbol.[2]
