The Order of the Charred Veil is a minor militant Order of the Adepta Sororitas founded on Saint Isidore’s Rest by the sisters of the Order of the Argent Shroud after the Macharian Heresy.^[1a][1c]

In addition to their abbey on Saint Isidore’s Rest, a thousand Sisters of Battle of the Order are stationed on the shrine world of Macharia.^[1b]
