Order of the Sublime Adoration
The Order of the Sublime Adoration is a minor Order Militant of the Sisters of Battle.[1]
History
This Order was one of several minor Orders Militant that took part in the Imperial defence against the 13th Black Crusade. Notably, they rescued the 188th Cadian at Crimson Fell.[1]
The Order later took part in the Argovon Campaign, as part of the Indomitus Crusade's Task Force XI. While the war against the Necrons raged, the Sisters of the Sublime Adoration fought the xenos on Iaso.[2]
They also committed forces to the Siege of Dharrovar during the Nachmund Rift War. They were known to have fought alongside the Sisters of the Order of the Burning Light and Imperial Guardsmen of the 901st and 905th Dataggan Dragoons. In the Imperial retreat from Dharrovar, hundreds of the Sublime Adoration's Sisters were killed by the forces of Chaos after the Guardsmen guarding their flanks were overwhelmed.[3]
