Ore Tug

Ore Tugs are tugs used by the Imperium to transport portions of mineral rich asteroids to worlds, so they can be harvested in refineries.[1]
These ships are massive blocks 700 metres wide and 3km long. Each consists mainly of a fusion engine, bridge and a crew quarters module that is attached to the ore. They have a carrying capacity of thousand of millions of tonnes, but if need be, the crew module can be detached and jettison away from the tug via controls on their bridge.[1]
