Orori is a Cardinal World of the Imperium. It is the first planet of the Coryxx System.[1b]
As the Coryxx System is part of the Sanctus Wall, it and its worlds were targeted by agents of Abaddon the Despoiler during the Nachmund Rift War in an attempt to destabilise Imperial defensive efforts in the region. Imperial officials attempted to combat this by broadcasting hymns and prayers read by the bishops of Orori on worlds across the region (although these did not prevent a number of key worlds from suffering civil uprisings that had to be put down by more direct methods).[1a]
