Palatine (Chogoris)

The Palatine was the ruler of the largest empire of Chogoris during the youth of Jaghatai Khan.^[1]

Utilizing disciplined armies of armoured horsemen and densely packed infantry blocks, the armies of the Palatine were unrivaled and ruled the largest empire on Chogoris. Jaghatai ultimately united many of the tribes of the Empty Quarter of Chogoris and led a campaign against the Palatine. Ultimately, after a series of decisive victories, Jaghatai was able to besiege the Palatine at his fortress of Cophasta. Jaghatai demanded the Palatine's head on a pike, which the terrified defenders within produced to spare themselves destruction.^[1]
