Palmarius is a Chaplain in the Blood Ravens Chapter and serves as the spiritual leader of its Fifth Company.^[1a]

He fought beside Captain Davian Thule on the planet Calderis during the First Aurelian Crusade, before the Captain was struck down by Tyranids^[1b], and would later serve under Force Commander Aramus for the remainder of the Crusade.^[1c]
