Parvan
Parvan is the Grand-Sire of the Imperial Knight House, Hastine.[1]
In M42, House Hastine's Knight World, Haenos, became endangered, after its Imperial Knights were drawn into a war with the T'au Empire. This occurred, when a battle between the Xenos and Adeptus Mechanicus on Fundas Reach, grew to envelop the Sub-sector it shares with Haenos. As the war wore on, the T'au began secretly targeting the worlds of the Adeptus Mechanicus and Imperial Knights. Not with armed forces however, but instead with the Xenos' trade, diplomacy and technology. The invasive presence of the T'au on these worlds, was then later startlingly revealed to the Imperium. When Parvan was shown the corruption the T'au were having on Haenos, he recalled swathes of his Imperial Knights to defend their Homeworld. Doing so though, reduced the House's chances of winning their war against emergent Necron Tomb World on the edges of the Eastern Fringe.[1]
