Pashen Nine-Sixty (also simply known as Pashen[1b]) is a world of the Imperium.[1a]
History
At one point in mid M41, the Imperial intelligence agent known as Fereyd discovered that a Chaos Cult had formed on Pashen and was planning on staging an insurrection. However, when he reported this to Imperial authorities, the response force sent to destroy the cult ran into problems - most notably a difficult space battle involving the Imperial Navy fighting against heretic naval officers. This meant that the Astra Militarum had to be deployed in a protracted action against the Cult on the planet's surface.[1b]
Amongst the Militarum units deployed were the Hyrkan Regiments. Commissar Ibram Gaunt ended up saving Fereyd's life and the two worked together to defeat the traitorous Baron Sylag.[1b] The two remained in contact afterwards, striking up a lasting friendship.[1a][1b]
