Patinallo was a Guardsman of the 42nd Paragon Tank Regiment.^[1b]

Biography

He served in the regiment's 3rd company, acting as the main gunner aboard the Leman Russ Indomitable Fury under Lieutenant Colaron Artem Lo Bannick.^[1b]

In 397.M41, the 42nd was part of an Imperial taskforce sent to liberate the planet Kalidar IV from the orks of Waaagh! Gratzdakka.^[1b] The regiment was deployed on the Kostoval Flats to take the fight to the orks laying siege to the Urta mining complex.^[1a][1b] During the fighting, Indomitable Fury was destroyed by an ork walker with Bannick the only survivor.^[1b][1c]

Notes

• Note 1: At one point in the source, Patinallo's name is given by Bannick as Pantinallo.^[1b] This is presumably an error, although as the characters were being attacked by orks at the time, it is possible that Bannick merely misspoke.
