History
In late M41, the planet attempted to secede from the Imperium. It transpired that a Chaos Cult had arisen on Pelegeron IV. The Imperial effort to pacify the rebellion was known as the Vinculus Crusade, which consisted of Space Marines of the Black Templars Chapter and Battle Sisters of the Order of the Bloody Rose led by Inquisitor Vinculus.[1]
Geography
Pelegeron IV is an extremely tectonically- and volcanically-active planet, with the few landmasses stable enough for human habitation covered in rivers of lava.[1]
The most notable physical feature of the planet is a truly gigantic volcano, known as Apex, larger even than Olympus Mons. The interior of the volcano hosted a mighty fortress, also called Apex.[1]
