History
in M42 it was invaded by the Serpent's Teeth Alpha Legion Warband, who sought to steal Pendata's resources. The world's Pendata Bluecoats PDF were deployed to defend against the Warband, which was aided by hordes of Chaos Cultists. While the Astra Militarum would come to Pendata's aid, it was not enough to stop the Serpent's Teeth and their Cults, which overran Pendata. Eventually one area of Imperial resistance remained, but just as it was about to fall, the Silver Templars of the Indomitus Crusade arrived. Though they lost several transports in reaching the Warband's location, the Chapter's arrival has turned the tide of battle and has caused the Serpent's Teeth to suffer heavy losses.[1]
