Phaethon is a master-crafted Power Sword that was wielded by Remus Ventanus during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy.^[1]

This weapon was crafted on Veridia Forge and presented to Ventanus by Marius Gage upon his ascension to the rank of Captain of the 4th Company. Named after an ancient Terran hero, its disruptor field could easily penetrate even the toughest armour.
